Becoming an Emergency Medical Technician requires strict training. Classes prepare students to function as practitioners in the prehospital emergency medical environment.  This 13-week course is considered a Blended/Hybrid Model.  Students attend in-person sessions every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with select mandatory weekends being required.  This course schedule follows the Ursinus College student schedule, respecting college finals week, campus breaks and holidays.  Please note the schedule at the bottom of the page before registering to match your availability with this course schedule.  Students will also have 24/7 access to our custom-built classroom, which offers pre-recorded and scheduled content, including lectures, videos, and quizzes to support and enhance the learning experience.

Location of course is:

Ursinus College Campus located at 601 E Main St, Collegeville, PA 19426

Each student is required to participate in field/clinical internship experiences in and around Montgomery/Bucks/Berks Counties to achieve “patient contacts”.
